CTFAR: A Powerful Concept To Think About
Think about this powerful concept: There are indisputable facts – that anyone in a court of law would agree upon – and then there are as many different thoughts generated by those facts as there are humans.

Once we have our own individual thought about this fact, it generates a feeling. What we then do for actions (or inactions) as a consequence of that feeling will bring about a result – positive or negative.
For example, seeing a weight on a scale of 200 could cause elation for the person who is continuing to lose weight, resulting in positive actions that propel further weight loss success through commitment. That same number for someone who desperately wants to weigh a normal weight, could result in negative thoughts and feelings of self-loathing, which can lead to buffering with food, alcohol or other drugs.
Same number on the scale, two completely different feelings, actions and results.
The powerful CTFAR model can be described this way:
C — Circumstances are facts and are indisputable
T — Thoughts are a result of how an individual interprets each fact or circumstance.
F — Thoughts generate a feeling – positive or negative
A — Actions (or lack of actions) are generated by feelings
R — Actions determine results (positive or negative)
Is it possible to control results in our lives – like our weight – by thinking differently and feeling positive vs negative thoughts? You bet it is! I can help you to unleash the power of this Model in your own life.
